The MailTrace Process

Step 1

Item is delivered to the building by usual means (courier, Royal Mail etc.).

Step 2

The item is then scanned in to the MailTrace system. At this point the person scanning has responsibility for the scanned item.

Step 3

Item is delivered to recipient desk. Item is signed for by recipient. The responsibility for the item is now transferred to the recipient.

A log is now created showing all steps of the process and who, where, when and to whom each item was delivered.
